It has always been our goal to go to Quartzite, AZ, the dream land of all retiree's. As we came over the mountain into the town, we were shocked by how many merchant tents were in the valley. It was a strange sight to go from the desert valley of beautiful
saguaro tree's to a valley full of RVs and merchant tents selling their wears. It was also a shock to find out that during the off season of

Quartzite, AZ there were only 10,000 people. Then during the months of October through April, this small town grew from 10,000 to over 1Million people, all because of retiree's brought there in an RV. It was also great to see the meetings at church. What was great to see was that in order to accomadate all the members of the church it took two sacrament meetings. I loved watching the sacrament being administered by 8 high priests who blessed the sacrament, and 16 high priests whom passed the sacrament to all who were in attendance. It was a sight that cannot be described accurately in words. The spirit was very strong during that time.
Arizona is the land of beautiful sunsets and nights so clear you felt like you could touch the stars above. We have really decided that we really like our little apartment on wheels.

While there we visited the London Bridge in Lake
Havasu, AZ. It was interesting to learn that when the London bridge came from London England it was
disassembled one brick at a time, each numbered as they came down, then they made the voyage across the Atlantic only to be
reassembled using the numbers they were assigned here on American Soil. It is an amazing bridge to see in person and to

learn the history behind it
