life before hitting the road

The month of December was full of fun. Starting off with Karen's Birthday celebrated with Tim's family in Disneyland. We had a great time knowing that we were going to come back 5 days before Sam's big surprise party because he was retiring from the State of Nevada after 33.5 years.


Sam, not knowing that he was going to have a retirement surprise party, Karen had him pose for the last time in his full uniform, hat and all.

This was his first day of retirement, you can just see the stress that had been there for four years due to his position as a Sargent for the State of Nevada already gone. Life will be fun hitting the road in our fifth wheel RV in a few weeks. Seeing America will be done because we have always said, "Hold on to your dreams!!!" Talk to you as we discover our dreams on the road.

    Hi troops...it's been a month since you left. Where are you hiding? Would love to hear about some of your travels/adventures/fun places. Hope it's all that you expected.
